Plants & plant care
Lotus are a hardy perennials that may take a year or two to get well established. Should be planted in the center of round hole-less lotus pots. Divide infrequently. Be sure NOT to damage the growing points as they will not grow back when damaged. Roots are tender and grow in circular pattern. Fertilize only after growth appears to avoid burning the roots. Email me with your plant questions. Plant supplies are available all year but our lotus plants are available from March to late May. After May the lotus plants are actively growing and are too fragile to ship. Our other plants ship. April to August depending on the weather.
